Industrial Decor, 2010

Hand cut woodgrain self-adhesive shelf liner
This installation draws imagery from common industrial patterns to create simple geometric designs. In homes across America one can see these patterns used as decorative elements in gardens,  furniture and interiors.  I see these decorative industrial materials; cinder blocks, venting grilles and pavers as a reflection of a desire for accessible (mass-produced) finery. This piece was installed at Living Art Botanicals in Eugene Oregon in 2010.
